Elieser, the floating fisherman's church and home is visiting Sirevåg.
At the same time there was held a lottery for income of the the operation. The mood was high inside the boat and the band was playing. The boat was filled by people and the limited lottery number was soon reached. It was necessary to add numbers to a book.
After the lottery was held the female cook, the boat's housewife, made a cold meal with cooked and smoked salmon, salads, fresh bread and hamburgers.
Why do we need a floating fisher-home along the Norwegian coast?
In the fisher-man's boat it is possible to take a shower, call home, eating dinner, drink a cup of coffe, read the paper and cooperate on meetings and arrangement. It's to give the fisherman a home far away from home.
